Leading SAFe® 6.0 is the entry training to the Scaled Agile Framework® and provides a comprehensive introduction to the basics of SAFe®. It teaches principles and practices required to safely drive a Lean-Agile transformation and organize work across departments along the company's value streams. The training and its certification provide clear guidance and tools needed to develop a common language and build a resilient corporate culture. This will engage employees to become customer-centric and enable agile working at scale.
The training shows how to align the entire organization around clear goals and improve the value and workflow from strategy to execution. You will learn what makes companies more customer-centric and how to effectively execute key SAFe® alignment and planning events, such as PI planning.

This training is aimed at:
Leading SAFe® 6.0 is a comprehensive introduction to the SAFe framework, ideal for people in any role who do not have yet much experience with SAFe® 6.0. Additionally, the training is specifically aimed at leaders, managers and anyone else in an organization who wants to drive the adoption or scaling of Agile and Lean principles at an enterprise level.
Requirements:
All are welcome to attend the course, regardless of experience.
However, the following prerequisites are highly recommended for those who intend to take the SAFe® 5 Agilist (SA) certification exam:
- Experience in software development, testing, business analysis, product, or project management
- Experience in Scrum

How does the certification take place?
Certification takes place after the training and successful completion of the online examination.
How do I register for the online exam?
The respective email address of the course participant is required for registration for the online examination. This will be requested with the list of participants before the training. Activation or admission to the examination usually takes place on the last day of the training.
How do I get my access data to the SAFe® Community Platform?
Participants will receive their access data to the SAFe® Community Platform of Scaled Agile, Inc. based in Boulder (USA) and to the online examination by email.
When do I need to complete my online exam?
Participants can take the online certification exam within 30 days.
Is participation in the examination compulsory?
Participation is optional.
How do I get my certificate after a successful exam?
After passing the exam, the certificate is made available for download in the participant's personal user profile.
