Bundle: SAFe for Teams & Product Owner / Product Manager
This bundle, tailored for Product Owners (PO) and Product Managers (PM), consists of a Public SAFe® for Teams and a POPM training to prepare Product Owners and Product Managers with little or no previous experience with the SAFe® framework and their role in a scaled agile organisation. Within this bundle, the essential knowledge and skills to work effectively as a PO or PM in an Agile Release Train (ART) are taught over four days of training.
The first two training days cover SAFe for Teams and are conducted in an extended group with mixed roles. The focus is on the introduction to Lean Thinking, the basics of Scrum and Kanban, as well as the tools and processes of the Scaled Agile Framework. At the centre of this part is a practical PI planning simulation, which shows what it is like when the teams themselves take over the planning and align themselves with common goals in order to create real added value for the customer. This part of the training allows you to exchange ideas across your role and organisation through a diverse group composition.
The second part of the bundle provides an in-depth understanding of the extended responsibilities of a Product Owner or Product Manager in a scaled environment in further two days of training. In a small group, you will learn how you as a PO or PM can contribute to a successful PI planning event and will be given tools on how to formulate epics, features and stories and break them down into smaller items.
After completing this training, you will be well prepared and authorised to obtain not only the SAFe for Teams (SP) but also the SAFe POPM (POPM) certification and take on a central role in the successful implementation of agile scaling in your organisation.
