In a remote setup the learning content will be taught over 3 days.
In this training you will learn how to take on the role of the SAFe® Scrum Master in the Lean-Agile organization, to form agile teams and guide them to deliver business value on a large scale.
The SAFe® Scrum Master training provides you with a fundamental understanding of the role of the Scrum Master in the context of a SAFe® organization. In difference to traditional Scrum Master trainings, the focus of this course is on the extended responsibilities of the Scrum Master in a scaled environment. You will be prepared to plan iterations and goals for Planning Intervals (PI) with your team and to complete them together in the Agile Release Train (ART). The course covers the essential components of agile development and shows how they can be adapted to the requirements of large organizations.
You will learn how to moderate agile events such as iteration planning, team synchronization and iteration retrospectives and you will also learn how to help teams organize work using SAFe® Scrum and SAFe® Kanban. The course will show you ways to be an inspiring leader and coach to develop high performing, engaged, and continuously improving teams in your organization.
Following this Scrum Master training, you can take the exam to obtain the SAFe Scrum Master certification (SSM).

How does the certification take place?
Certification takes place after the training and successful completion of the online examination.
How do I register for the online exam?
The respective email address of the course participant is required for registration for the online examination. This will be requested with the list of participants before the training. Activation or admission to the examination usually takes place on the last day of the training.
How do I get my access data to the SAFe® Community Platform?
Participants will receive their access data to the SAFe® Community Platform of Scaled Agile, Inc. based in Boulder (USA) and to the online examination by email.
When do I have to have completed my online exam?
Participants can take the online certification exam within 30 days.
Is participation in the examination compulsory?
Participation is optional.
How do I get my certificate after a successful exam?
After passing the exam, the certificate is made available for download in the participant's personal user profile.
